Will Ferrell gained fame as a member the cast of Saturday Night Live. After that, Ferrell starred in many other big-screen comedies, including 'Elf,’ "Anchorman," and "Talladega Nights. Will Ferrell was born in Irvine in 1967. He began his comedy career by being a part of the Los Angeles-based group The Groundlings. After his highly acclaimed seven-year stint as a member of the cast on Saturday Night Live, he was one of the film industry's biggest comedic draws with off-color films such as Old School (2003) and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004). Ferrell was also the co-founder of the popular video streaming site Funny or Die, and had success as a voiceover actor via animated features such as Megamind (2010).
