Abigale Lee Miller bio

Abigale Lee Mills (born September 21 1965) was an American dance instructor, choreographer, and reality television host. She is the founder of the Abby Lee Dance Company, which appeared on the reality series Dance Moms for eight seasons. On June 27, 2016, Miller pleaded guilty to felony bankruptcy fraud. Miller was sentenced for one and a half years in federal prison. She was released on the 27th of March 2018. The diagnosis of lymphoma was made in April of this year. It's a form of cancer that makes her unable walk. She uses a wheelchair for mobility. Miller was born in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania. She was a professional dancer and studied under her mother at the Maryen Lorrain Dance Studio. Miller was 14 when she was given choreography and the coaching of one of her mother's dance teams. Miller eventually took over the studio in 1995 and changed the name to it Reign Dance Productions. Miller was certified by Dance Masters of America in 1986. She became an official member of Dance Masters of Pennsylvania Chapter 10 in February 2012. But Miller's membership was terminated by DMA in February 2012, after the DMA stated that Miller's reality-TV series Dance Moms was "a complete distortion of teachers and students of dance and is harmful to the profession of dance."
